Definitions
This website is run by the definite Article (also referred to within these Terms and Conditions as “we”, “us” and “our”).
The Client is someone (person or company) who enters into a transaction with the definite Article.
A Transaction is a financial arrangement undertaken between the definite Article and the Client. This can be but is not limited to a purchase or lease of a piece of art.
Privacy
We respect your privacy. At no time will we contact you without your permission. There are various points in this website for you to opt-in to receive communication from us, and only when we have received this will we contact you.
We will not pass on your details to any third party without your express permission.
Copyright
All copyright on works displayed within this website remains with the original artist. Copyright on the design and layout of the website itself is held by us.
Pricing and payment
All prices quoted exclude the cost of framing (unless otherwise stated). For overseas deliveries all cost of taxes, import duty etc. will be borne by you. Postage and packing costs shown apply for orders within the UK. For overseas orders, we will contact you to arrange an agreed cost for packing and shipping before processing your order.
Payment for works bought must be received before the goods are despatched to the address specified by you. All prices are quoted in sterling and include VAT of 17.5%. Typical postage and packing rates for UK and international destinations are shown on the checkout page.
It is your responsibility to ensure that you
have supplied us with the correct details. We reserve the
right to refuse any order.
Delivery policy
We deliver goods worldwide. We will endeavour to dispatch item(s) purchased upon notification of receipt of payment. Within the UK please allow up to seven working days from this point for delivery and up to 14 working days for other destinations.
Returns policy
In accordance with GB Government regulations governing distance selling, you have a period of fourteen days for approval of your purchase. If you do not wish to buy the item(s) you ordered, please return it/them in suitable packaging to the address shown below within fourteen days from receipt of the item(s). Upon receipt of the item(s) in a suitable condition by us the cost of the artwork will be refunded in full. We will not be responsible for refunding any postage or packaging costs. Any returns must be fully insured.
Please open any packaging carefully and do not use scissors or knives in case you damage the artwork. In the case of any damage no refund will be due.
Changes
We reserve the right to make changes to these Terms & Conditions. Any new version takes effect from the time of its posting on the website. Please check the latest Terms & Conditions before making a purchase.
